The controversy about letting Michael Vick back into the NFL has been bantered about for a few days now. The only thing that I would suggest, if the NFL really cares about the whole dog fighting issue, is to make an addition to the collective bargaining agreement with the players. It would be redundant to other aspects already agreed to by the Players Association so it should not be objectionable to the players. If they do object, make them do so publicly. Add a line that specifies that certain activities, including but not limited to, dog fighting, cock fighting or any other illegal cruelty to animals, is punishable by expulsion from the league. If the commissioner is not willing to consider this, I think his priorities should be questioned.
