The Character of My Country

"The Character of My Country" Sen. Ted Kennedy asks it in a question. I've not liked the answers that come to the forefront when that question comes to mind. Will we change that answer this time? Is it true that there are broad expanses of this country that have had no problem with the way things have been? That they are only NOW concerned because of who is in power? If we obsess with, The Character of My Country, we might be able to someday once again be proud of our country. And Yes, Dorothy, there is more than one country out there that could ask this question.
